With the latest 2025 F-150, there are a multitude of engines to choose between, which include:
- 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6: 325 horsepower / 400 lb-ft of torque
- 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8: 400 horsepower / 410 lb-ft of torque
- 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6: 400 horsepower / 500 lb-ft of torque
- 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V-6: 430 horsepower / 570 lb-ft of torque
Whether you need the ultimate towing machine, off-road machine, or a comfortable cruiser that packs a full hybrid powertrain, the F-150 does not disappoint. It has all of the power you need with the efficiency you want. F-150 Hybrid models also come with Pro Power Onboard, which gives the truck multiple outlets that allow you to have electrical power on-the-go.
Thanks to its best-in-class tow rating of up to 13,500 pounds, the 2025 F-150 allows you to take control. There is tons of capability at-the-ready. Full towing specs will be released soon. The maximum payload is 2,455 pounds, also best-in-class. Every F-150 continues to come standard with a 36-gallon fuel tank, giving ample range and efficiency, especially on long journeys.
For off-road fun, there is the Tremor, which sports an upgraded off-road-tuned suspension compared to other trim levels, plus better breakover and departure angles and steel skid plates that give you the confidence to traverse any off-road terrain. Standard 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch matte black wheels and selectable drive modes work to keep the F-150 Tremor comfortable on any surface.
Exterior
Each trim level of the 2025 F-150 wears a specific grille and trim treatment to distinguish one from another. Each has its own character and personality, from durable work trucks to fine luxury. Each trim level gets fender F-150 badges that mirror the appearance of the Super Duty trucks. The Black Appearance Package is now optional on SXT, XLT, and Lariat models.
Depending on your trim level, a 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot can be had. Bed storage box cubbies are recessed into the bedsides, behind the rear wheel wells. If you don’t opt for Pro Power Onboard, you will have two storage boxes.
The 2025 F-150 also features an available Pro-Access Tailgate, which has a hinge that allows you to open part of the tailgate like a door, putting you closer to the bed to retrieve items more quickly. Even if a trailer is hooked up, the swing-out design allows you to gain access to the bed. The tailgate door can open to 37, 70, or 100 degrees.
Interior
The 2025 F-150 offers an extremely spacious cab. The driver gets a 12.0-inch Digital Productivity Screen to stay informed about the Raptor’s status on and off the road. Coupled with a Head-Up Display, drivers will have everything they need to see and know while driving right in front of their eyes. There are custom views when using BlueCruise and if you are towing or hauling.
Specific models can be optioned with Interior Work Surface. When in Park, you can fold the shifter down with the push of a button and then open the center console armrest to create a flat surface.
Technology
Standard across all trim levels is a 12.0-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with Sync 4. Available is the B&O Unleashed audio system feeding the cabin with supreme sound. You also get a 5G LTE Wi-Fi connection along with wireless smartphone integration.
The 2025 F-150 features Ford BlueCruise, an Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) that has traveled more than 100 million hands-free miles in customers’ hands, equating to customers experiencing over 1.4 million hours of driving time. Experience the latest and greatest Driver Assist technology with BlueCruise 1.4.
The 2025 F-150 comes with optional Pro Power Onboard, which features a set of outlets in the truck bed. On gas-powered models, you can option 2kW, which is good enough to power a television, speaker, blender, mini fridge, and electric heater. The PowerBoost Hybrid F-150 comes standard with 2.4kW, which can power electronics for up to 85 hours with a full tank of gasoline. PowerBoost models can be optioned with 7.2kW, which is good enough to power a framing crew, mobile metal/welding shop, or a dirt bike mobile shop for 32 hours.
The 2025 F-150 will help buyers with advanced driver-assist features like Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist. Together, they make reversing up to a trailer and reversing with a trailer much more manageable, allowing drivers to waste less time getting hitched up or getting the trailer parked where it belongs. With Smart Hitch, the truck measures the tongue weight to help buyers properly tow, reducing the possibility of trailer sway while driving with a trailer attached.
Ford is using Stolen Vehicles Services in the 2025 F-150, a service that can help locate and recover stolen trucks. Owners can use the FordPass app to report their vehicle as stolen through the Ford Stolen Vehicle Services Call Center. Together, they will work with the police to track your vehicle and help recover it.
Safety
Ford Co-Pilot360 offers an impressive array of safety features, such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection (to help avoid a possible collision with another vehicle or a pedestrian), rearview camera with dynamic hitch assist, and auto high-beam headlamps and auto on/off headlamps.
