Ford Extends Complementary Home Charger Program Through March

There is little argument that the best way to have an electric vehicle is to be able to charge it at home. With a home charger installed, you simply come home from your job or daily driving needs, plug in the vehicle, and that is it. It will be ready for you at full charge the next day. Until you go on a long trip, this will cover you day in and day out—no public charging and, of course, no gas refueling. When you are driving, the powertrain is smooth, quiet, essentially maintenance-free, and far less costly to operate than a gas vehicle. It is what we all wish driving had always been. Thus, Dick Smith Ford is pleased to announce that Ford has extended its free home charger program through March 31, 2025.

The program is called the Ford Power Promise, and it is available for any retail customer who purchases or leases a 24MY or 25MY Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van. The Ford Power Promise plan includes:
- Complimentary Home Charger & Standard Installation: Retail Purchase or lease of a Ford Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van customers are eligible to receive a complimentary home charger and standard installation at their home.
- On-the-Road Charging: The BlueOval Charge Network simplifies journeys by locating chargers across networks, including Tesla Superchargers. Enjoy seamless road trips with Plug and Charge via the FordPass app.
- Battery Confidence: An eight-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty provides peace of mind with every drive.
- 24/7 Support: A dedicated team of Ford advisors offers continuous support, including complimentary roadside assistance with charging support for 5 years or 60,000 miles from the date of sale.

To take advantage of the plan, you must purchase or lease a 2024 or 2025 F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, or E-Transit Cargo Van from Dick Smith or any Ford dealer prior to March 30, 2025, to be eligible. At which point, you will receive a complimentary Ford Charge Station Pro (Ford charger model may vary based on availability) with complimentary home installation. If you already have a home charger, you can receive $1,000 cash instead. The complimentary home installation uses Qmerit Electrification LLC, and the installation must occur before the end of September 2025. Restrictions may apply based on structural and electrical limitations.

If you have been thinking about purchasing or leasing an EV, or perhaps you have had questions about home charging, now is the time to take a look at a Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit Cargo Van from Dick Smith Ford of Columbia.
