The Adaptable And Capable Back Wheel Of The Ford Bronco Badlands With The Sasquatch Package

While the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is the smaller sibling of the Bronco, people forget that it can be capable, too. All you have to do is add dirt—or the Sasquatch Package.

Available on the Outer Banks and Badlands trim levels, the Sasquatch Package on the Bronco Sport transforms this small SUV into a trail master. On the Outer Banks trim, the Sasquatch Package includes HOSS 2.0 and an advanced 4×4 system. Badlands models add Bilstein rear shocks. All Sasquatch Packages include 29-inch all-terrain tires on alloy wheels; a full-sized spare tire is included in every Sasquatch Package-equipped 2025 Bronco Sport. All Badlands models get the 250-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine. All Sasquatch Packages include a twin-clutch locking rear differential.

The Sasquatch Package enhances the agility of the 2025 Bronco Sport. Ground clearance is raised to 8.7 inches with a 31.2-degree approach angle, 21.7-degree breakover angle, and a 27.9-degree departure angle. Additional protection is added to the package with a removable bumper guard, skid plates, and exposed recovery points.

The Spectacular Exterior Of The Fantabulous 2025 Ford Bronco

The team at Motor1.com had a spin in the 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Sasquatch Package to see if it is as capable as its bigger sibling. The journalists at Motor1.com had plenty to say about the 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Sasquatch Package. They first heaped plenty of praise for the packaging by saying that “the way Ford integrated this package is exceptional. From its prominent, bulging hood to its cargo tie-downs, blocky interior design, and rumbling all-terrain tires, the Bronco Sport feels more truck-like than any other crossover.

Ride quality is important for any off-road-ready vehicle. “The independently sprung Bronco Sport—MacPherson struts at the front and double lateral link semi-trailing arms at the rear—is far smoother, even without airing down,” the Motor1.com team explained. “It bounds over those same ruts without issue.”

They put the 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Sasquatch Package through many tests. The Motor1.com team reported back that “[i]n the final test, a sandy autocross course, the Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch is a riot, sliding around like an old-school rally car.”

The Comfortable Steering Wheel And The Versatile Infotainment Screen Of The 2025 Ford Bronco

In summary, the Motor1.com team concluded that the 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Sasquatch Package is “capable without being silly. It’s good enough to handle any trail that a reasonable person would attempt alone, spacious enough for four-person camping trips, and tidy enough to avoid scraping the sides on most trails. It’s playful enough to slide through the sand and serious enough to be your only car. It’s somewhere between the dream and the reality, and that’s exactly where I want to live.
